Aneta runs a 6-hectare blueberry farm in the Grójec region, where the harvest season can last up to 12 weeks and involves high staff turnover. Before digitization, records were kept manually, which led to errors, delayed payments, and misunderstandings. After implementing the epunnet system, she streamlined the settlement process, reduced losses, and gained better control over the work, even for those who stayed only for a day or two. This example shows that even in farms with complex logistics, digital tools can be adopted without disruption, delivering real savings in time and money.

Before epunnet adoption

Before Epunnet, settlements were handled "on paper, in notebooks, and via text messages." Every day, data came in different formats and had to be manually entered into Excel in the evenings. This led to mistakes, delayed payments, complaints, and confusion. It was unclear who harvested how much and when, with stock discrepancies reaching up to EUR 250 a day.

"Everyone had their own notes, and I had neither the time nor the confidence to know what was true," Aneta recalls.

In 2024, Aneta implemented ePunnet – a system for digital harvest tracking using NFC wristbands assigned to each worker. From then on, every container was registered upon delivery, and data appeared in the system in real time. Workers could check their own harvest results throughout the day and in the evening. This allowed them to request advances with full visibility of their current earnings – and the advance itself was also recorded and visible when they tapped their wristband on the worker app.

Implementation results

  • Payroll processing time dropped from 1–2 hours per day to around 15 minutes. Aneta saved over 100 hours of admin work during the season.
  • Losses were reduced – discrepancies between the physical number of crates and notebook records were eliminated. Daily savings of EUR 50–75 added up to thousands over the course of the season.
  • Better control of staff turnover – even 1–2-day workers were registered in the system, enabling timely settlements and avoiding conflicts.
  • Faster payouts, as workers had access to real-time performance data, reduced misunderstandings and tensions.
  • Aneta could compare worker productivity and plan workdays more effectively.
  • Automatic data export to the accountant's computer eliminated manual data entry.
  • The system also worked offline, with data syncing automatically once the signal was restored – particularly useful on certain parts of her farm.

Aneta now plans to launch a simple bonus system next season based on performance data from the app to reward the most productive pickers.

Are containers still "disappearing" without a trace on your farm? For Aneta, that's already a thing of the past.
